The Vincent Sheppard company was established with the purpose of transmitting and carrying on the traditional Lloyd Loom weaving technique, invented by Marshall Burns Lloyd during the first post-war period. To make that happen, the company collaborates with the local population of Cirebon, Indonesia, known for their tradition of rattan weaving and curving. From the very beginning the company has chosen to use as many natural resources as possible for their furniture production.
