Buds is a collection of suspension and table lamps that the designer Rodolfo Dordoni has designed in the 90's, and restyled again, interpreting contemporary taste with a sophisticated wealth and focus on materials. The star of the design remains blown-glass, with a five-layer hand-crafted process, which is immediately evident thanks to the larger cut of the diffuser. Rodolfo Dordoni was born in Milan in 1954 and there he graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic. In collaboration with six designers, Foscarini unveils seven new collections and two updated designs. At the heart of the presentation is a contemporary take on the chandelier, with Étoile by Dordoni Studio, Asteria by Alberto and Francesco Meda, and Allumette and Tilia by Francesca Lanzavecchia. New materials also emerge, such as recycled lava and glass beads.
