This ceiling lamp with 6 arms is a re-edition of the lamp created by the talented Serge Mouille in 1958.

All the lamps by Serge Mouille are entirely handmade in France with the original shapes and techniques developed by the designer almost 70 years ago. Each lamp is also stamped and numbered, because every year only 600 pieces are produced, sold and distributed all over the world. Each copy is numbered and delivered with its certificate of authenticity.

Serge Mouille (1922-1988) was one of the world's most renowned designers for his projects and lighting fixtures. Graduated in decorative arts, he practices in the study of G. La Croix and, after graduating, he opens his studio. The search for a kinetic and sculptural aesthetic leads him to create luminous sculptures that seem to move in space. These include the whole series of lamps that reflect the morphology of a spider through elegant and surprising shapes.

Every handcrafted item tells the story of a great master who lived searching an original design, inspired by nature. Serge Mouille developed an extraordinary artistic talent that allowed him to attend the Applied Arts School in Paris, when he was just thirteen. After many years of study passed watching and reproducing natural elements, he became a master in the art of metal and silver processing. Then, in 1945, opened its first laboratory.
