Agape Cenote Washbasin Column Designed by Patricia Urquiola

Cenote is a washbasin collection designed by Patricia Urquiola for Agape. An element conceived in two versions, countertop and column, which exploits all the expressive potential of clay.



The Cenote washbasin series has a powerful presence, imbued with textural and sensory vibrations given by the use of refractory clay hand-moulded on a potter's wheel. This makes each Cenote washbasin a unique and precious piece, standing out for its exclusive details. The craftsmanship of the clay leaves the outer surface deliberately rough while, in a play on contrasts, the inside of the washbasin is glazed and polished. The Cenote washbasins, in both countertop and column versions, are available in two sizes and two finishes: natural clay or dark clay, both with a transparent enamelled interior or creamy white for the natural clay version and blue for the dark clay version.
