Poltrona Frau Chado Rug

Chado is a rug designed by Designcorporate for Poltrona Frau. Available in two size in several finishes. Pattern composed by a grid with contrast color edge. Entirely hand-knotted on wooden looms.

Sturdy and solid: Chado is a rug made with small Tibetan nodes composed by 40% Linen and 60% Bamboo Silk. Soft, sparkling and uniform like the velvet Chado has a woolly fur in the whole surface. The Poltrona Frau trademark, impressed in the embossing saddle label, is visible in the high quality of the craftsmanship and materials. Chado is made with "cut", a traditional Indian technique, that create a very durable structure that ensures that the individual knots do not loosen. Chado gets inspiration by the soft light of the places used for the ritual of the tea ceremony in Japan. The charm of the colors is expressed in this rug by the meditative and harmonious spirit.
