Agapecasa Clizia - Chair Designed by Angelo Mangiarotti

Angelo Mangiarotti designs "Clizia" for Agapecasa: a chair characterized by a cantilevered floor supported by a central support belonging to the Mangiarotti Collection. Made of white Carrara marble or Marquina black marble with oxidized iron base.

The contrast between the hardness of the marble, static and elegant, and the shape of the plastic values, sinuous, characterizes this chair, making it a real sculpture to sit down. The upper profile coincides with the lower one, recalling some studies by Escher for complexity and architecture. "Clizia" extracts its monolithic bodies from the same block of marble, through a single cut capable of defining the two sessions simultaneously. The waste is reduced to a minimum, the use of stone material is optimized to the best, Clizia is a masterpiece for interiors or exteriors.
