Radical Design

Ironic, eccentric, and unconventional, the Radical Design movement started in Italy in the late 1960s. Artists and designers from Archizoom and Superstudio gathered in Florence with the aim of suggesting new radical ways of living. From Zanotta's Quaderna collection and Poltronova's Superonda sofa to the Carlton bookcase by Memphis and Gufram's Bocca sofa, Mohd's selection includes the icons of Radical Design conceived by Ettore Sottsass, Gaetano Pesce, Mario Bellini and many others.
