Colombo 1 by Molteni&C is a design object that interprets the language of design through the delicacy of origami.

From a single, measured fold comes a shape that evokes the stylized figure of a dove, a universal symbol of peace and purity. Made of polished stainless steel, its surface reflects its surroundings, playing with light and the space in which it is placed. This accessory is part of the project born from the collaboration between Molteni&C, the heirs of Gio Ponti and his Archives, with the intention of bringing back to life designs and insights of the famous master. The result is a collection of elements that, despite their simplicity, are capable of dialoguing with the identity of the contemporary home. Colombo 1 is more than a simple decoration: it is a tribute to the ability to tell stories with just a few strokes, transforming matter into symbol.
