Volée is a table lamp designed by Odo Fioravanti for Fontana Arte.

Volée originated from a reflection about changes in lifestyle and work and about the way in which the use of tolls connected with it has changed in the course of time from pieces of furniture to  lighting and the accessories currently used in workplaces.  A simple wave of the hand under the head of the lamp activates an electronic device that switches the light on or off without any contact; while a touch sensor over the head allows the flow of light to be regulated to three different levels of intensity. A latest generation LED card generates a soft and adjustable light that spreads on the worktop by creating a very comfortable field of view. A time-out system automatically switches the lamp off after it has been on for 8 hours.  Volée is available in four different finishes: matte white painted, light gray, dark gray and yellow.
