Aiayu

Aiayu conceives design as a result of sustainable, aesthetic and qualitative production, fundamental characteristics to make a product truly luxurious and respectful for the environment. Aiayu was born in 2005, under founder Maria Høgh Heilmann, and realizes high-quality fabrics preferring alpaca and lama's wool, typical of Bolivia. The term "aiyayu", that pronounced [ai-ya-yu] in the Bolivian indigenous language Aymara means "soul", represents perfectly its design ideology, focused on the love for natural materials and for people that work with cure and passion. Aiayu collaborates with other international firms, such as the brand Muuto, realizing several precious fabrics.
