Working as an in-house designer for the renowned furniture brand Ethnicraft, Alain Van Havre is able to combine the traditional, eternal flair of his products and the new-era trends. A conceptuality that looks back to the milestones of the past, but always aware of the passing of time and generations. Van Havre’s preferred material is wood, whose timeless elegance is palpable in each creation of his, an element that provides endless possibilities.
Alain Van Havre graduated from the Design Academy of Eindhoven, in the Netherlands, and 1999 he started working as product designer for Ethnicraft. His portfolio counts refined coffee tables, funcional chairs, sophisticated sideboards and nightstands that radiate a sense of continuity, while being extremely impactful. Each product witnesses, through its meticulous crafting, a specific moment in time.
