Alberto Meda e Paolo Rizzatto
The two Italian designers Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto are famous for their works in the lighting industry. Alberto is an industrial designer graduated in mechanical engineering; whereas Paolo, architect and designer, after opening his construction and design studio, founded Luceplan with Riccardo Sarfatti in 1978. Together, Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto began to conceive impressive projects for the company, such as the Lola lamp, a piece that won the Compasso d'Oro award.
