Alev Ebüzziya-Siesbye

Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye is a Turkish-Danish artist, designer and ceramist born in Istanbul. The designer is known for her unique bowls made by firing at high temperatures. Her work is sometimes called minimalist, her bowls resemble ancient ceramics, utilitarian objects intended for everyday use but also works of art in their own right. During her career she has collaborated with prestigious brands such as Raawii, for which she created the Alev 01, an iconic bowl with simple and minimal lines.
