Andrea Branzi

Architect and designer, Andrea Branzi is one of the most acclaimed artists, a milestone of Italian design. An intellectual, avant-garde personality, whose career is full of important creations and of continuous ideological and stylistic steps, deep studies and research. Sapient man of culture and artist, Andrea Branzi represents today one of the most influential and esteemed figures on the design scene, and he currently works as a professor at the renowned Polytechnic of Milan.

After graduating at the Florence School of Architecture in 1966, he founded the globally renowned Archizoom movement with other radical artists, officially starting his brilliant career. During the ‘80s he was awarded many prizes, such as the Compasso d’Oro and the Rolf Schock award, he was director of several famous exhibitions all over the world, and he was the founder of Domus Academy, the very first post-degree design institute.
