Antonio Citterio

Antonio Citterio is one of the most influential contemporary personalities in the world of design. The Italian architect and designer was born in Meda in 1950, and his fame has been sealed by his gentle and elegant soul, which is reflected in all his work. From the Grand Sofà and ID chairs by Vitra, to Maxalto's Lithos, Pathos and Recipio '14, and up to the Ray sofa and the Mirto collection designed for B&B Italia, all Citterio's creations rank among the masterpieces of design.

The designer was awarded the Compasso d'Oro-ADI in 1987 and 1994.
