Designer Antti Kotilainen founded his own studio in 1997 in Helsinki, where he deals with furniture, product design and visual concepts, bringing together graphic and spatial design. His works are the pure representation of Scandinavian tradition, of a spontaneous as well as essential design. The Aava chairs by Arper express their designer’s great ability to explore new woodworking methods.
