Benjamin Hopf
Benjamin Hopf was born in Hamburg in 1971 and trained as an industrial designer in the USA and Germany. In the design studio as cofounder he works for international customers such as Habitat and Vibia. In 2007 he launched his own studio and in 2008 he started the Formagenda brand, for which he designed the iconic Pearls suspension lamp. For Hopf design means putting emotional content into an object so that it forms a lively relationship with people: “a good product is a product you can fall in love with”.
