Belgian architect and designer Caroline Voet works at the intersection of architecture, interiors and product design, developing an essential and restrained language. Among her most recognised projects is the Prelude bench for PER/USE, where craftsmanship and formal purity meet in a balanced dialogue of proportions and materials. Her work is defined by a quiet aesthetic, attentive to context and to the relationship between space and the individual.
Born in Antwerp in 1974, Caroline Voet studied in Belgium and at the Architectural Association in London. After professional experiences with Zaha Hadid and Christian Kieckens, she founded her studio in Antwerp in 2003. Her practice explores the boundaries between architecture, interior design and scenography, working with both private and public clients. She also teaches at the Faculty of Architecture of KU Leuven, Campus Sint-Lucas.
