Emilio Nanni
Interpreting minimalism with coherence and elegance, designer and architect Emilio Nanni is a versatile and talented figure. In his studio, based in Bologna and Milan, he explores the world of architecture, design and art direction pursuing an "industrial design strategy". From the Blazer, Croissant and Marimba chairs conceived for Billiani to the most sophisticated architectural works, his projects represent innovation, research and formal essentiality that blends elegance and contemporaneity.
Born in Bologna in 1955, Emilio Nanni graduated in Architecture in Florence, and later founded the ENd+a studio. Designer, architect and painter, he holds numerous conferences and teaches at the Faculty of Architecture of Florence and at the Polytechnic of Milan. The collaborations with Billiani, De Castelli, Zanotta, Tonelli, Cattelan Italia some of the most important of his career. Among the major awards, he boasts the Red Dot Award, the German Design Award, the ADI DESIGN INDEX.
