Formafantasma

Formafantasma is an Italian design studio based in Amsterdam. The main work of Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin focuses on the production and development of design products. After graduating from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, since 2009 Formafantasma has focused on experimenting with innovative materials and focused on critical issues concerning sustainability and respect for the relationship between tradition and local culture. Their alternative vision regarding the world of design has pushed the Italian duo to play a link between traditional craftsmanship and the design industry. Formafantasma's works have been commissioned by Fendi, Max Mara - Sportmax, Hermès, Droog, Nodus rug, J & L Lobmeyr, Gallery Giustini / Stagetti Rome, Gallery Libby Sellers, Established and Sons, Lexus, Krizia International and Flos. Their works are present in the most important contemporary art museums all over the world.
