Front
Front is a Swedish design studio with an avant-garde, bold attitude, among the most prosperous in the international market. The studio was established by two designers, Anna Lindgren and Sofia Lagerkvist, who decided not to adopt the typical Nordic flair and to approach a visual, almost poetic experimentation.
The items created by Front tell a story about their own design process and about their materials they are made of. The powerful experimentation pursued by the two designers has also involved animals, computers and machines during the productive process. Along with being awarded numerous prizes, Front’s design is exhibited at MoMA, Victoria & Albert Museum, Vitra Design Museum and Centre Pompidou.
