Gino Colombini
Designer Gino Colombini was a key figure in Italian industrial design, best known for his role as technical director at Kartell from 1953 to 1960. During those years, he revolutionized everyday objects through the innovation of molded plastic, creating practical, colorful, and modern products. Among his most iconic designs are the citrus juicer and the famous umbrella stand with built-in ashtray, which became a symbol of 1960s design.
