Kateryna Sokolova
Born in 1984, Kateryna Sokolova is a Ukrainian designer and winner of the 2015 Red Dot Design Award. A graduate of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, she went on to become the co-founder and creative director of the brand Noom and of the Sokolova design studio. She has worked in numerous fields, from furniture and lighting to hardware and electronics. Among her most successful creations, the Gropius series stands out for its seating proposals that pay homage to the great Bauhaus architects.
