Leif Jørgensen

Danish designer and architect, Leif Jørgensen relies on decades of sapient experience concretized in brilliant furniture, product, interior and exterior design projects. Born in 1962 in Stepping, Denmark, Jørgensen graduated at the Academy of Royal Arts in Copenhagen after developing a rising interest in arts and design. The Nordic flair that permeates Jørgensen’s design is marked by the use of top quality materials and simple, extremely refined silhouettes.

In addition to a number of important collaborations with renowned design brands, the artist started his own furniture store in 1989. The partnership with Hay is currently ongoing and began in 2002, with the production of some furniture masterpieces that reflect the constant need of Jørgensen to experiment and create original concepts. His design studio focuses on the idea of finding new ways to approach everyday design for modern people.
