Marco Dessí

In 2008, Italian designer Marco Dessí established a multidisciplinary design studio in Vienna, which carries his name. His design approach is strongly focused on understanding materials, processes, and the connections between them. Marco Dessí does not adhere to a specific style, but rather seeks to deeply understand the connection between an object's aesthetics and the story it conveys. This philosophy translates in original and meaningful creations that reflect passion for the art of design.

Marco Dessí, born in Merano in 1976, established his own studio in 2008, embarking on a remarkable journey of collaboration with renowned companies and cultural institutions. His projects include a diverse range of designs, ranging from furniture and lighting to innovative spatial solutions. One standout representation of his unique style is the Cima lamp, a mesmerising pendant lamp created for Lodes, featuring an elegant rope that gracefully descends from the ceiling to the floor.
