Norm Architects isn’t just a multidisciplinary design studio, it is an artistic choice, a source of inspiration for all those who love Nordic design. The name itself recalls a philosophy that emphasizes the importance of rules, and the necessity for a clean and geometric design, the one that characterizes the best Scandinavian brands. Founded in 2008 by Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Ronn, since joined by Linda Korndal, Norm Architects is based in the centre of Copenhagen, at the heart of Nordic culture. Its artistic focus stems from a single question, ‘Why?’: Designers want to reflect on the meaning of each creation and concentrate on producing beautiful and functional items that join traditional craftsmanship and timeless elegance.
