Roberto Mora

Roberto Mora is an unconventional designer whose work defies the logic of mass production. Since 1993, he has developed a radical and distinctive language, creating hybrid objects that blur the line between function and formal distortion. Iron—often combined with recycled materials—lies at the heart of his poetic vision. From the Bice series for Mogg to his most recent creations, Mora explores lightness, transparency, and irony through a consistently personal and nonconformist lens.

Born in Parma in 1964, he now lives and works in Sant'Ilario d’Enza, in the province of Reggio Emilia. After an early focus on painting and graphic design, he embraced product design with an independent, experimental, and often provocative approach. His works, crafted as prototypes or in limited series, have been exhibited in Milan and in major international venues—from Paris to Athens, Moscow to New York—and are featured in prestigious private collections, celebrated for their singularity and expressive force.
