Sir Kenneth Grange
Considered to be among the greatest British designers, Sir Kenneth Grange had started his career in the 50s as a technical illustrator. He shortly became a true pioneer of user-focused design, creating projects destined to everyday use that are even today iconic and familiar, in its successful intention to combine usability and aesthetic beauty.
Award-winning artist, Grange received multiple architecture and design prizes. He was appointed knight for services to design in the 2013 New Year Honours, and he received several honorary doctorates by the Royal College of Art and other renowned institutions. He won ten Design Council Awards to his most appreciated creations, the Duke of Edinburgh's prize honoring his professional achievements.
