Taf Architects

Taf is a Stockholm-based design and architecture studio founded by Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom in 2002. Since its creation it has earned outstanding international recognition, boasting collaborations with brands such as Muuto and a portfolio of successful touring exhibitions, interior designs and products. Some works have been exhibited at MoMA and several projects are part of the permanent collections of the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and the Danish Design Museum in Copenhagen.

With its innovative methods, Taf gives rise to extraordinary products. Painstaking investigation of materials and construction techniques lead to the creation of humorous and inspiring designs. Pendant lamps inspired by rubber bands and soda cans, coffee tables made from oversized ice cream sticks, or a sculptural staircase built from cheap scraps of kitchen countertops are all part of Taf's work.
