Terry Dwan
Born in California, Terry Dwan studied structural engineering and architecture at Rice University in Houston and fine arts at SACI Studio Arts Center International in Florence, specializing later at Yale University. Expert architect and designer, she collaborates on residential and commercial projects, retail and showrooms in Europe, establishing in 1991 her studio in Milan, where today some of her works are exhibited in the permanent collection of the Design Museum at the Triennale.
Collaborating with Antonio Citterio, Terry opened her Dwan Studio in 1991, primarily focusing on architecture and interior design. In 1996 she extended her network developing important collaboration projects with companies such as Sawaya and Moroni, Electrolux, Driade, leading art direction for the sustainable design firm Riva1920 from 2004 to 2009.
