Warren Platner
Eclectic, inexorable, innovative: Warren Platner was an American architect and design, born in Baltimora, Maryland, in 1919. Graduated from Cornell University with a degree in architecture in 1941, he worked in some of the most important architecture’s studios, in particular Platner was part of Eero Saarinen’s office from 1960 to 1965. His figure in the history of design is due to the collaboration with the brand Knoll. Furniture characterized by a lightweight and elegant touch, able to create dynamism and warmth in the environments. Every piece tells a story of attention and quality, included in a furnishing collection that represents a continuing icon of 1960s modernism.
