Artemide Dioscuri Table Lamp Designed by Michele De Lucchi

The Dioscuri table lamp, designed by Michele De Lucchi for Artemide, was created to bring an elegant and discreet light into interior spaces. The available sizes, Ø 14, 25, 35 and 42 cm, allow for coherent compositions and harmonious combinations of different formats.

A compact and immediately recognizable volume defines the lamp, based on a sphere in acid-etched blown glass. The light is distributed evenly, contributing to a comfortable visual perception.The Dioscuri table lamp is dimmable and compatible with LED light sources (bulb not included). Depending on the size, the bulb base and maximum recommended wattage vary: the Ø14 version uses an E14 base with a maximum of 6W, suitable for the more compact diffuser; the Ø25, Ø35 and Ø42 versions use an E27 base, with maximum 12W outputs. This differentiation ensures a well-balanced, comfortable light output in proportion to the lamp’s volume.

The lamp is ideal for living areas, bedrooms, studies, and hospitality spaces, and adapts well to terraces and covered outdoor areas. It offers a soft ambient light that does not strain the eyes and integrates easily with different interior styles. Maintenance is simple and requires only a soft cloth.

To help with size selection, the 25 cm version can be used on bedside tables and shelves; the 35 cm version works well on sideboards and coffee tables; the 42 cm version can enhance larger spaces and floor compositions. It is also possible to create compositions by combining different sizes, achieving a balanced and cohesive visual effect.
