Glas Italia Donald Rectangular Table Designed by Philippe Starck

Donald is a collection of tables created by designer Philippe Starck for the Glas Italia brand. The rectangular table expresses all its character and power while at the same time being almost ethereal.

The Donald tables are made of 5 + 5mm layered extralight glass, with a base consisting of a thick mirror-polished stainless steel plate, surmounted by a volume in colored transparent glass, glued at 45 °, in which the color fades and slopes until it dissolves and vanishes. Available in square or rectangular version, you can choose between the version with a gradient that slopes downwards, or upwards. It is also available with a black or orange gradient color, or in a version multi-chromatic, in which the sides of the parallelepiped have different colors (yellow, orange, pink, red, green), which mix when they overlap in the transparency of the glass. The top, resting on the base, is bound to it thanks to an ingenious and refined synthem of interlocking between elements of mirror-polished stainless steel, glued to the crystal.
