Downtown Lounge by Poltrona Frau is an armchair designed to combine ergonomics and refinement. The slender design and carefully studied inclination promote a relaxed posture, while the variable density padding and headrest cushion ensure optimal comfort.

Jean-Marie Massaud reworks the language of the Downtown collection to offer an interpretation designed for relaxation. The inclination of the seat welcomes the body naturally, supporting the back and head with balance. Compact in proportions, it fits elegantly into residential environments, lounge spaces or waiting rooms. The structure is available in a swivel version, equipped with a four-spoke aluminum base with a “Torna” mechanism, which allows 360° rotation and automatic return to the initial position.

French designer and architect. A graduate of the National School of Industrial Design "Les Ateliers" in Paris in 1990 Jean-Marie Massaud is immediately looking for synthesis, reduction and lightness. In 2000, he founds Studio Massaud and extends its activity to the architecture and development strategies. He collaborates with several prestigious companies such as B&B Italia, Axor Hansgrohe, Dior, Poltrona Frau, Lancôme and Renault. By placing the man and his natural environment at the heart of his creations, this designer adopts a limitless way to proceed and committed political and strives to make every project in a lifetime experience and an economic scenario that reconciles desire and responsibility . His work can be defined as the seamless integration between the object and the individual.
