Lladró Dragon Sculpture

Lladrò's Dragon sculpture, skilfully sculpted by José Luis Santes, is an extraordinary limited edition of 777 pieces, created in honour of the prestigious brand's 70th anniversary. 

The dragon, the protagonist of this sculpture, emerges with power and majesty, capturing the mythological imagination of the legendary creature. The anatomical precision in the representation of the scales, wings and open jaws testifies to the artistic skill, while the squared lines recall the traditional features of the Japanese art of origami, thus becoming part of the Origami collection. Dragon Sculpture becomes a decorative element of great visual impact, but also a symbol of the brand's continuous innovation and refinement, made even more special by the choice to create limited pieces, further emphasising its exclusivity. 

Dragon Sculpture is made of porcelain. Natural mineral pigments have been used for its decoration, covered with a thin layer of metallic oxide to intensify the predominant red colour enriched by the contrast of the golden details.
