Kartell Dune Big Tray Designed by Mario Bellini

The Dune Tray excites those who see, those who see it and who uses it.

What good is a tray if it is only for carrying things? The semi-transparent material of these trays sculpted from within varies in chromatic intensity and luminosity. It generates so on the surface holding glasses and cups a magical three-dimensional illusion. In these trays slide images that float. As a stream, a fi ume of lava fl ame of a fire. Animated images of the caprices of wind and light. Like the waves of the sea, the dunes of the desert, the shimmering reflections of silk. The first born, these trays in the colors of the rainbow, a family of small objects. Invented and designed to delight you with unexpected.

Material Transparent or batch-dyed PMMA.
