E63 is a table lamp designed by the designer Umberto Riva and produced by the famous and prestigious brand Tacchini. Available in satin chrome, bright chrome, matt champagne gold, matt brushed copper, zinc yellow and pastel green.
In 1963 the model of this lamp was born, today reissued with the name E63. An alphanumeric abbreviation contains the intellectual complexity of its designer, Umberto Riva: a bit of an architect, a bit of a designer, a bit of an artist, a bit of a tamer of light, and much of this. A table lamp designed in an exact way, with simple lines to contain large surfaces, which seem to give solid form to the light itself: steel, almost like an armor to protect the precious source.

Designed by Umberto Riva
A famous architect and interior designer, Umberto Riva was born on June 16, 1928. In 2018 he was awarded the Gold Medal for Lifetime Achievement by the Milan Triennale. The artist was a student of Carlo Scarpa at the University of Venice, and first approached the world of architecture in 1960 in Milan. He was defined by the public as the master of light, for having created some of the most beautiful design masterpieces for brands such as Fontana Arte, Francesconi, VeArt, Poltronova, Driade.
