Martinelli Luce Elastica Ceiling/Floor Lamp

Elastica is a unique lamp of its kind, designed by Studio Habits and produced by the famous Martinelli Luce brand in 2019. Lamp stretched between ceiling and floor. The elastic fabric strips are available in different colors. Base of the same color chosen for the fabric strips.

Make a quick downward gesture and it will light up. Innocenzo Rifino and Diego Rossi of Studio Habits tell the concept behind the design of the Elastic Lamp. Everything revolves around the idea of the natural interaction that is created between the lamp and the user. The sensors recognize the instinctive gestures of people and poetically translate them into turning on, off and modularity of light intensity. The lamp is fixed to a support on the ceiling and to a cylindrical counterweight base in painted metal of the same color chosen for the fabric strip.
