Elettra is an armchair by B.B.P.R. for Arflex. Black metal tubular frame, seat and back upholstered with shaped polyurethane and polyester slip cover. Fabric covering.

Elettra is an armchair with a modern and essential design. It belongs to the collection of furniture made for the Triennale of Milan in the 50s to promote the furniture for offices and public spaces. Simple lines and formal purity for an armchair that is resistant to the fashions and styles over time.

B.B.P.R. is a studio of architects, urban planners and designers founded by Gian Luigi Banfi, Ludovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso, Enrico Peressutti and Ernesto Nathan Rogers.The expressive research of the B.B.P.R group is characterised by a greater attention to environmental issues and the inclusion of historic centres, and in contrast with the passive acceptance of the Modern Movement, the studio defines a language deeply rooted in tradition.
