Ethimo Patio Lounge Armchair Designed by Giorgia Zanellato e Daniele Bortotto

Patio is a collection of outdoor furniture designed by Studio Zanellato/Bortotto for Ethimo. The line includes lounge armchair, sofa, coffee tables, hammock, table and chair, all designed to create elegant and cosy outdoor spaces. The distinctive element is the use of weaving, combined with the authentic charm of teak, for a refined and unique design.

Inspired by the concept of ‘cocooning’, Patio envelops the body in enveloping comfort. Its name and arched weave recall the courtyards of Spanish architecture, where loggias and arcades opened onto gardens with pools and fountains. This balance between tradition and modernity is reflected in a design that combines craftsmanship and innovation.

The collection was born from the exploration of weaves and patterns discovered in the design studio's travels. Each weave is a three-dimensional surface that combines aesthetics and structure. The teak seats become canvases on which craftsmen weave refined motifs, the result of suggestions and experimentation, creating an exclusive project for Ethimo.
