Flauti is a suspension lamp by Christian Giopato and Christopher Coombes for Giopato&Coombes. Handblown Murano glass, where the illuminating brass in three finishes bulb is suspending.

Flauti is a suspension lamp made of hand blown glass and turned brass, both high quality materials and processes. The glass modules mix different traditional techniques of Murano glassblowing such as “ballotòn” and “filigrana”, and match historical Venetian colours that recall romantic sunsets over the floating city. In contrast, the custom-designed led light source is held within a hand-turned brass ring. The light source shines upwards through the lamp and downwards so that both your room and the blown glasses themselves are lightened up, enhancing the lightness and quality of manufacture. It is as if innovation would emphasize tradition. All components are designed and handmade LED bulb is also produced in the Venetian region.
