Fritz Hansen Fred Lounge Chair

Fred is a lounge chair by Jaime Hayon for Fritz Hansen. The frame has been crafted from 8 individual pieces of wood, digitally cut before being carefully finished and assembled by hand. The frame is available in natural oak, stained oak and black ash. Upholstered with exclusive Christianshavn fabric, a tactile and durable wool-blend in a range of amazing colours or in leather.The lounge chair Fred strikes  the  perfect  balance  between  past and future, making lounging a new art form. Elegant from every angle, the decorative joints with gently rounded edges are assembled by hand in a nod to Danish heritage designs and craftsmanship tradition. Perfectly proportioned with a solid frame and the open, low-slung silhouette has a contemporary feel despite its classic roots.
