Vitra Freeform Ottoman Designed by Isamu Noguchi

Freeform is a seating collection designed by Isamu Noguchi and produced by the Vitra brand. The series includes a sofa and an ottoman, both of which feature solid maple legs, available in natural or walnut-stained finish. Upholstery is in F120/Credo fabric.

Freeform embodies the aesthetic of the well-known Japanese-American sculptor and designer. Inspired by the shape of river pebbles smoothed by water, the design features sleek, organic lines that convey a sense of lightness and naturalness. This feeling is further accentuated by the choice of fabrics in natural colors and subtle yet comfortable upholstery.

Originally produced as a limited edition around 1950, the Freeform Sofa and Ottoman were relaunched in 2002, keeping true to Noguchi's original vision. This sofa is ideal not only for domestic settings but also for public spaces such as hotel lobbies or entrances where it can serve as a distinctive design element.
