Fun DM is a collection of lamps designed by the famous designer Verner Panton for the brand Verpan. Made with exquisite seashells and a metal structure with a round wooden canopy. One of Verner Panton's great designs, fun DM is a suspension lamp made for big spaces and highly aesthetic ambiences. The peculiarity of the lamps, is within the lamp small pieces of seashells, which create a highly artistic product, of great shape and size. This lamp, is part of the Fun Mother of Pearl collection, entirely created by Verner Panton, available in a variety of shapes and sizes and is perfect in combination with all the other variants.

Designed by Verner Panton

Verner Panton was born in Gamtofte, Denmark, in 1926. He studied architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and graduated in 1951. He starts soon working in the studio of Arne Jacobsen in 1955, and then started a personal study design. His line is unique, innovative and revolutionary, linked to the inspirations of organic and geometric. The color is king in his designs of furniture and lighting. Reached the pinnacle of success in 1967, with the Panton Chair, the first product developed independently by Vitra. Collaborates with Fritz Hansen, Thonet, Verpan and & Tradition, proving himself a true champion. His works are now present in the most important museums of international design. He died in Basel on September 5, 1998.
