Giova is a lamp that was designed by the designer Gae Aulenti in 1964 and FontanaArte produces it proposing a classic icon in the LED version. Available in different colors and sizes.
The iconic Giova marks the debut of Gae Aulenti in the field of lighting. Available in two sizes, it is a real luminous sculpture. On a metal base is placed a transparent globe that includes the inner sphere in opal white glass where the light source is housed. Above, supported, a glass of blown glass (full of irregular air bubbles) is in effect a flower vase. Now available also with gray pulegoso blown glass and gold finish base.

Designed by Gae Aulenti
Gae Aulenti was born close to Udine, in Palazzolo della Stella, on December 4, 1927. In 1948 she studied at Milan Polytechnic under the influence of international Rationalism but then embraced Neoliberty, as evident in her most famous works.
She was a world-known architect, responsible for the restructuring of Paris Musée d'Orsay, and collected a number of international successes without ever wanting to be labeled an archistar.
