Ginori 1735 's Granduca Coreana collection was born out of the fascination with oriental aesthetics that won over Florentine noblewomen in the mid-eighteenth century.

In the 1750s, in fact, there was a new taste for floral motifs inspired by Japanese imperial kimonos, a symbol of grace and beauty. This new sensibility resulted in the "Korean-style" decoration, a tribute to Asian art and culture reinterpreted with the elegance typical of Ginori 1735. The collection consists of flat, soup and dessert plates, cups, bowls and other tableware, all made of the highest quality white porcelain.
