The Horizon sofa, designed by Artefatto Design Studio for the brand Secolo, introduces a distinctive visual element: a free, rotating circular backrest that evokes the image of a sun on the horizon. Its full, rounded form appears to slowly emerge from the seat, suggesting a sunrise or sunset observed in silence, at the boundary between light and matter.

The backrest rests on a metal structure that allows lateral rotation, offering a discreet yet functional gesture. The compact, regular body of the sofa contrasts with the soft curve of the backrest, resulting in a composition that is essential yet considered.
