IC S2 10th Anniversary - Suspension Lamp is a special re-edition of the IC S2 suspension lamp designed by Michael Anastassiades and produced by the Flos Brand.

Approaching its 10th anniversary, Flos decided to celebrate IC and its collaboration with Michael Anastassiades with a special numbered edition. Inspired by the idea of ancient ornaments, FLOS chose a golden finish for the special edition, more as a symbol of eternity than luxury. The IC 10 Anniversary celebrates the archetypal appeal of the collection and its ability to stand the test of time as only works of art can. The unique 24k gold coating is made with a special thickness that avoids the addition of the clear lacquer normally used to protect the finish from oxidation, resulting in a flawless, extra-glossy surface.

Ideal for living rooms, hotels, offices or dining rooms, this lamp will bring the elegance of Flos to any setting.

Michael Anastassiades is a Cypriot designer who founded his studio in 1994 in London to explore the contemporary notions of culture and aesthetics through a combination of products, furniture and environmental design. His creations are at the crossroad between industrial design and decorative art and are meant to provoke dialogue, participation and interaction with those who come in close contact whith them. Especially well known for his lighting production, Anastassiades combines simple geometric shapes such as tubes, oblongs and spheres with shiny surfaces and reflective materials, such as mirrored glass and polished bronze. His lights decorate hotels, restaurants and stores worldwide.
