Idra glasses are the brainchild of architect and designer Stefano Marcato's intuition and passion for glass and its infinite processing. These glasses are produced by the Nason Moretti brand.
Colors and textures combine to create this original and precious set of glasses. Optical and swirling is the texture proposed in the set, hot etched on glass in 6 different colors. The result is a glass that harks back to the Murano tradition, but can also be used to personalize and liven up the everyday table. Designed by Stefano Marcato
Born in Murano in 1953, Stefano Marcato is an Italian designer. He graduated from the faculty of architecture in Venice furthering his education in architectural restoration, and later started working for the Effetre group, shaping his competencies and skills in glassmaking. His creative flair shines through extraordinary glass creations, the traditional material par-excellence of Venetian culture. Marcato has been collaborating with NasonMoretti for a few years, for which he has designed some precious lamps, vases, set of glasses and home decor crafted in Murano glass.
