Introverso Sink
Antonio Lupi presents Introverso, the exclusive project by Paolo Ulian, which manifests itself in a washbasin with a special character, made entirely of white Carrara marble.
Introvert is the non-random name of this sink signed Antonio Lupi. The idea on which it develops is in fact the concept of form within the form. The careful observation of the working of a marble sculpture is the basis of the project, in which the shape is carved with a regular series of recesses managed by a numerical control machine. The result is expressed in thin strips of marble at the edges, which once broken let show the raw sculpture that is hidden inside. The block of white Carrara marble reveals the inner soul. The shape inside the shape can be glimpsed, transforming the monolithic appearance into something that allows you to see an inner soul, to be unveiled by breaking the edges of the slats. The sink is complete with open plug, siphon and flexible hose, is not included with faucets.
